AIS Units
Class A
This class of AIS will normally be found on larger vessels. It also offers some advantages in safety and features over the class B but at a higher cost.
Class B
This class is normally seen on vessels that are not required to carry but elect to. It will also bring some smaller and certain class vessels up to compliance with the new regulations.
